London was cold and dead. The air was thin and the buildings have fallen. Mountains of rubble littered the once busy, grand high street of the west end. West end houses and fine petit mansions had windows smashed and doors bolted up with wood. The creaking of a rusty swing in the silent park was all that could be heard. Children's gentle, sweet laugher echoed though; thought the minds of the insane. The children are dead now. Shops were forever closed and left to rot, along with the night scene Trainers echoed on the road along with the pounding of rain as they walked towards the biggest pile of rubble that was left. Reviews 1 - The Lovely Bones

Good Lord above save us all: The Lovely Bones was postively one of the mind-numbing books I have ever encountered. It's not even funny. It was terrible at best and usually this kind of plot is golden as it is new and shinny in the eyes of a needy audience. The writing and the effort in writing style itself had the same gleam and talent of an inbred new-born lunaic. That too be fair is an insult to inbred lunaics and I am sorry about that. To be fair at least it was orginal, but some of us petty mortals didn't even make it to the half way point, I know I didn't due to the fact that the leading charater is watching her own little sister, whom
